Blanched Almonds
Blanched almonds are without skins. They have a very subtle flavor
and are a nice contrast when used in/on dark-colored foods. Blanched
almonds can be sliced, slivered, split, diced and milled.

Blanched Whole almonds
are available sized or unsized, in whole and whole/broken grades,
and variety can be specified.

Blanched Diced almonds can be
added to mixes, batters and sauces; incorporated in crusts; sprinkled
on
cakes, ice cream or frozen desserts; or used as a coating for chicken
or fish before frying or sautéing. Diced almonds are available
in several sizes. |

Blanched Sliced almonds are preferred for garnishing
confectionery and bakery items. They are available in several
sizes.
Blanched Flakes (undersized and broken slices)
can be used in place of slices.

Blanched Meal, also known as flour, adds texture,
richness, flavor, and body and binds ingredients. Almond meal substitutes
for added fat and other flours in baked goods. Use in sauces and
add to smoothies.

Blanched Slivered almonds are halved,
and then cut lengthwise. Slivered almonds are available in large,
medium and small sizes. |
